GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF HOURLY WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF.IVORK- MAN OR MECHANIC NEEDED FOR THE RELOCATION OF A WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES IN SUGAR. (mc FADDEN) AVENUE AT THE SAN DIEGO FREEWAY CROSSING, Au.IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. WIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the construction of a water main and appurtenances in Sugar (McFadden) Avenue at the San Diego Freeway Crossing, and has considered evidence presented. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the relocation of a water main and appurtenances in Sugar (McFadden) Avenue at the San Diego Freeway Crossing, within the City of Huntington Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows: Hourly Wage Trade or Occupation: Rate: CARPENTERS Health and Welfare - 180 per hour Pension Fund - 100 per hour Vacation - 150 Foreman: Not less than 400 per hour more than the hourly rate of the highest classification over which he has responsibility, except "Pneumatic Nailer." It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any sub-contractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract.
