Parcel 2: That Portion of Seventeenth Street as described in a
deed from the McCallen Realty Syndicate to the State of California,
recorded August 30, 1951 in book 2224 page 395 of Official Records,
Records of Orange County, California.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference is
hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2: That notice is hereby given that the 1?:th day of
February, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber
in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California., is the time and place
when and where a public hearing shall be held upon said resolution of
intention to vacate said above described portion of Seventeenth Street,
at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation may be heard.
Section 3: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause a copy of this resolution of intention to be published in the
Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Huntington Beach, by one insertion prior to the
hearing as set forth in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4: The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, in
vacating the portion of Seventeenth Street, as above described, does elect
to proceed under the provision of the Streets and Highways Code Section
8320 etc. of the State of California.
Section 5: The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized and directed
to post notices of street vacation as.required by law.
