A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH MAKING
A DETERMINATION OF THE PROTESTS
MADE AT THE TIME OF HEARING ON "BOLSA
CHICA #3 ANNEXATION.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
does ordain as follows :
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of December, 1963, the
Council of the City of Huntington Beach did pass and adopt
Resolution No. 1894 giving notice of the proposal to annex
certain uninhabited territory to the City of Huntington
Beach, said territory being therein designated as "Bolsa
Chica #3 Annexation", and said Resolution described the
boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 1894 did contain a
notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council
of the City would hear protests made by any person owning
real property within the said territory proposed to be annex-
ed, the time of said hearing being not less than 40 nor more
than 60 days from the date of passage of said Resolution;
and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of February, 1964, at the
hour of 8 :00 P.M. in the Council Chambers 'in the City Hall,

of the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, said time and place being the day, hour and
place fixed in said Resolution No. 1894 for hearing protests
to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and
pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach does hereby determine that protests have not
been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the pri-
vately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown on
the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of
one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory propos-
ed to be annexed, as determined by said Legislative Body.

I. PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on theme day of February
1964 , by the following vote:
