HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1947 RESOLUTION NO. 1947 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TO VACATE A PORTION OF SARU CIRCLE IN SAID CITY AND GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON SAID VACATION. WHEREAS, a portion of Saru Circle has been found to be in conflict with the interests of the vestee in a prior recorded easement; and WHEREAS, it is to the best interest, of the City of Huntington Beach, to relinquish any City interests in that portion of Saru Circle; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to vacate that portion of Saru Circle as hereinafter described: NON, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, does resolve, determine, find and declare as follows: Section 1* The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby declare its intention to vacate that portion of Sara Circle, within the City of Huntington Beach, described as follows- That portion of Saru Circle, in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of Tract No. 5030 recorded in book 189, page kl and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line of said Tract No. 5030 distant thereon S 890 31' 18" E 184*06 feet from the Northwest corner thereof; theme continuing along said North line S 890 311 1811 E 195.15 feet; theme leaving said North line S 00 28► 42" W 1.00 foot to a point on a non— tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 41.00 feet, a 1. Resolution No. 1947 radial to said point bears N 00 281 4211 E; thence Southwesterly along said curve 35.60 feet through a central angle of 490 441 5211 to a tangent reverse curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 24.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along said curve 20.84 feet through a central angle of 490 441 52"; thence N 890 311 1811 W 106.31 feet to a tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 24-00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve 21.65 feet through a central angle of 510 411 0111 to a tangent reverse curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 26.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve 23.45 feet through a central angle of 510 411 0111 to a point distant S 00 281 4211 VI 5.00 feet from the point of beginning; thence N 00 281 42t1 E 5.00 feet to the point of beginning. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. Section 2: That notice is hereby given that the lath day of May, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 0 Block P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California,, is the time and place when and where a public hearing shall be held upon said resolution of intention to vacate said above described portion of Sara Circle, at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may be heard. Section 3; The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution of intention to be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, by one insertion prior to the hearing as set forth in Section 2 hereof. 2. Resolution No. 1947 Section 4: The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, in vacating the portion of Saru Circle, as above described, does elect to proceed under the provision of the Streets and Highways Code Section 8320 etc. of the State of California. Section 5: The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized and dir- ected to post notices of street vacation as required by law.
