A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF flUNTINGTON
BEACH TO VACATE ANDERSON STREET IN
SAID CITY AND GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING
ON SAID VACATION.
WHEREAS, Anderson Street, lying between Pacific
Coast Highway and the Bay northwesterly of the Rancho
line, is an unimproved street and is of no benefit to the
general public; and
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested the va-
cation of said Anderson Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to vacate Ander-
son Street, as hereinafter described;
NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, does resolve, determine, find
and declare as follows:
Section 1, The City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach does hereby declare its intention to vacate
Anderson Street, within the City of Huntington Beach, describ-
ed as follows:
A strip of land 40 feet in width, lying adjacent
to and northwesterly of the following described
line:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of that
certain parcel of , land containing 29.375 acres,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 3,Page 45,
Records of the County of Orange, and running
thence South 490 28' West along the SEly line of
said parcel of land to the most southerly corner
of said parcel of land

For further particulars as to the proposed vacation,
reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That notice is hereby given that the
18th day of Maa,y,1964 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. or as soon
thereafter as possible, in the Council Chamber in the City
Hall, Huntington Beach, California, is the time and place
when and where a public hearing shall be held upon said res—
olution of intention to vacate said above described Anderson
Street, at which hearing all persons interested in or object—
ing to the proposed vacation may be heard.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a copy of this resolution of intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and published in the City of
Huntington Beach by one insertion prior to the hearing as
set forth in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Hunting—
ton Beach, in vacating Anderson Street, as above described,
does elect to proceed under the provisions of Street vacation
Act of 1941J. Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
Section 5, The Street Superintendent is hereby
authorized and directed to post notices of street vacation
as required by law.

City of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 20th day of April , 1964.

1, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and acting City
Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach and ex-officio Clerk of the City
Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five;
that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all members of said City Council at
a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 20th , of April ,
1964 by the following vote:
