AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL VACATING
A PORTION OF SARU CIRCLE IN THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did by unanimous vote on the 6th day of

Apri1,196e, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly and
duly adopt Resolution. No, 1947, entitled, "A Resolution of
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach to Vacate a
Portion of Saru Circle in said. City and Giving Notice of Hear..
ing on said Vacation"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
did elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vaca.
tion Act of 1941; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the street to be vacated lies
within the City of Huntington Beach and is not a portion of a
state highway; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach
did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to be publish..
ed in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach,
by one insertion on the loth day of April, 1964; and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the 4th
day of May, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M, in the
Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was the
time and place when and where a public hearing was to be held
upon said resolution of intention, at which hearing all persons

interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may be
heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as requir..
ed by law; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests or persons appearing
against said proposed street vacation at said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach finds and determines from all evidence submitted that
the portion of Saru Circle described in Resolution No. 1947
is unnecessary for present or prospective public street
purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1. That it is ordered that that portion of Saru
Circle in the City of Huntington Beach, described as:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said Tract
No. 5030 distant thereon S 890 31' 18" E 184.06 feet
from the Northwest corner thereof; thence continuing
along said North line S 89 31' 18" E 19 .15 feet;
thence leaving said North line S 00 28' �2" W 1.00
foot to a point on a nontangent curve concave South.
easterly having a radius of 41.00 feet, a radial to
said point bears N 0 28' 4.2" E; thence Southwester-
ly along said curve 35.60 through a central angle 0f
490 44' 52" to a tangent reverse curve concave North-
westerly having a radius of 24.00 feet; thence South-

angle of 49 44' 52"; thence N 89 31' 18" w 106.31

Section 2* That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this Order, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of this City, together with a
certified copy of Resolution No, 1947 to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 18th day of May, 1964.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of
the City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number
of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is
five; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members of said
City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day
