A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNT INGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach:
That the SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL BANK Huntington
Beach Branch, the UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK Huntington Beach
Office, the BANK OF AMERICA Main and Ellis Branch, the BANK
OF AMERICA Springdale and Edinger Branch, the CROCKER-CITIZENS
NATIONAL BANK Beach-Edinger Office, the UNITED STATES NATIONAL
BANK OF SAN DIEGO Huntington Beach Office, the HUNTINGTON-VALLEY
BANK Beach—Warner Office, the UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK Edinger
and Beach--Office, as designated depositaries of the City of
Huntington Beach be and they (including their correspondent
banks) are hereby requested, authorized and directed, to honor
all checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money
drawn in the name of the City of Huntington Beach on all its
accounts (including those drawn to the individual order of any
person or persons whose names appear thereon as a signer or
signers thereof) when bearing or purporting to bear the fac-
simile signature(s) of any of the following:

the UMTTED CALIFORNIA BANK Huntington Beach Office, the BANK
OF AMERICA Main and Ellis Branch, the BANK OF AKERICA Spring-
dale and Edinger Branch, the CROCKER-CITIZENS NATIONAL. BANK
Beach-Edinger Office, the UNITED STATES NATIONAL BANK OF SAN
DIEGO Huntington Beach Office, the HUNTINGTON-VALLEY BANK
Beach-Warner Office, the UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK Edinger and
Beach Office (including their correspondent banks) shall be
entitled to honor and charge the City of Huntington Beach for
all. such checks , drafts or other orders for the payment of
money, regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or
purported facsimile signature of signatures thereon may have
been affixed thereto, if such facsimile signature or signatures
resemble the facsimile specimens from time to time filed with

the said banks by the City Treasurer of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach; and,
Ni FURTHER -BE IT RESOLVED, that all previous
authorizations for the signing and honoring of checks , drafts
or other orders for the payment of money drawn on the said
SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL BANK Huntington Beach Branch, the
UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK Huntington Beach Office, the BANK OF
KMERICA Main and Ellis Branch, the BANK OF AMERICA Springdale
and Edinger Branch, the CROCKER-CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK Beach
7dinger Office, the UNITED STATES NATIONAL BANK OF SAN DIEGO
Huntington Beach Office, the HUNTINGTON-VALLEY BANK Beach
Warner Office, the Ut,11TED CALIFORNIA BANK Edinger and Beach
Office, by the City of Huntington Beach are hereby continued
in full force and effect as amplified hereby.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by, the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 1st day of June, 1964.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of June
t 1964, by the following vote:
