HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2021 RESOLUTION No. 2021 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH MAKING A DETER- MINATION OF THE PROTESTS MADE AT THE TIME OF HEARING ON "HEIL ANNEXATION". The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: WHEAEA,S, on the 4th day of May, 1964, the Council of the City of Huntington Beach did pass and adopt Resolution No 1959, giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabi- ted territory to the City of Huntington Beach, said territory being therein designated as "Heil Annexation", and said Resolu- tion described the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said resolution No. 1959 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real proper- ty within the said territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing not less than 40 nor more than 60 days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and WHEREAS, on the 15th day of June, 1964, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of Hunting- ton Beach, County of Orange, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 1959 for hearing protests to the said annexation and said City Council were restrained from holding said hearing due to a temporary restraining order issued by the Superior Court of 1. Ides. No. 2021 Orange County and continued said hearing until August 3rd, 1964, at which time said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation.
