HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2030 RESOLUTION No. 2030 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held hearings and funds that there are two or more streets within the City having the same name and has recommended to the City Council a change of names for these streets in order to avoid confusion to the general public: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Beach resolves as follows: That SMELTZER AVENUE located west of Main Street and north of Clay Street be changed to "STEWART STREET". That THOMAS LANE located within Huntington Village, Tract No. 3613 be changed to "TOMAS LANE" That the City Clerk is hereby directed to send certi- fied copies of this resolution to the County Clerk of Orange County and to the County Surveyor of Orange County, Califor- nia. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, this 3rd day of 1,gt,st- 1964. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of The City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of August 1964.
