RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF'HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA .ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING
A BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY
FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and Expenditure
of funds allocated from the State Highway Fund to Cities has been
entered into by the City of Huntington Beach, hereinafter referred
to as the city, and the State Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the department; and,
WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a project statement show—
ing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made during
the 1964-65 fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said project statement
and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEMWORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of
Huntington Beach that said project statement dated October 15, 1964,
be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of
the gas tax allocation to cities, said project statement be and the
same is hereby approved and the Director of Public Works is directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said project statement
to be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of California,
in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and
Highway Code.

I,, PAUL C. JONES., the duly elected., qualified and acting City
Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex—officio, Clerk of the
City Council of said city, do hereby certify that the -whole number
of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is
five; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members of said
City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of
October, 1964, by the following vote:
