HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2069 f RESOLUTION NO. 2069 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATE OF COST OF .WORK_AND ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, ASSESSMENT .DISTRICT N0... 6402 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California , in regular session assembled this 7th day of December, 1964 that the Director of Public Works and City Engineer of said City of Huntington Beach is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans, specifications, and an estimate of cost of the following work and improvement proposed to be done in said City of Huntington Beach: The construction and installation of a storm drain system, including storm drain lines , storm drain channel extension, pump station, appurtenances and appurtenant work, and including the description of all necessary rights of way needed to be acquired therefor, as said system is generally described in those certain written reports thereof on file in the office of said Director of Public Works entitled, "PART I- DRAINAGE STUDY OF THAT PORTION OF HUNTINGTON BEACH SITUATED SOUTH OF ELLIS AVENUE :AND WEST OF BEACH BOULEVARD WHICH WILL BE DRAINED INTO THE PROPOSED EXTENSION OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL," "PART II - DRAINAGE STUDY OF. THAT PORTION OF HUNTINGTON BEACH WHICH WILL BE DRAINED BY A. PROPOSED PUMP STATION TO BE LOCATED APPROXIMATELY THREE-EIGHTS -OF A MILE SOUTH OF ATLANTA AVENUE.ALONG THE PROPOSED EXTENSION OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL,"' and in the maps And diagrams attachedto and included in said reports. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that proceedings for such work shall be taken in accordance with the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 under a resolution of intention to be hereafter adopted, provided that said City Council obtains jurisdiction to -1- Res. No. 2069 proceed with said work under the provisions of the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Adt of 1931. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Director of Public Works be and he hereby is authorized and directed to prepare a plat or map showing the boundaries of the district to be assessed to pay the cost of said proposed work and improvement.
