A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUN INGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general pre-
vailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the
realignment, reconstruction, surfacing, and improvement of Warner Avenue
from 650 feet east to 850 feet west of Algonquin Street, all in the City
of Huntington Beach, California and has considered evidence presented.
NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly wa,aes in this locality for workmen
needed in the realignment, reconstruction, surfacing, and improvement
of Warner Avenue from 650 feet east to 850 feet west of Algonquin Street,
all in the City of Huntington Beach, and the general prevailing rate
of legal holidays and overtime work, is as follows:

OVERTLVIE RATES
CARPRITERS - Double time for all overtime.
CE-TvIENT MASONS - Time and one-half for the first three hours after the
regularly constituted straight time shift, and all other overtime shall
be double time.

OPERATING ENGINUM - First three hours outside the regularly con-
stituted shift shall be at the rate of time and one-half. All
additional hours shall be at double-time. On Saturday work, the
first eleven hours shall be at time aa,id one-half and all additional
hours at double-time.
IRON WORKERS - Double time shall be paid for any and all work in excess
of eight (8) hours on any regular work day and for all time worked
on Saturdays, Sundays and recognized holidays.
LABOREM - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays,, which are
double time.
TEk,!jSTERS- Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays., which are
double time.
"The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in
the schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed con-
tract, shall be commensurate ane, in accord with the rates specified for
similar or comparable duties in the Southern California Plaster Labor
Agreements."
The rates per hour, indicated above are based upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour. Hourly rates of pay are based upon eight hours per day
for a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per them wages
of a fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate her hour
multiplied by the number of hours worked on said- day other than for
overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
