A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO A
TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
MAIN AND ADAMS STREETS IN THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH
WHERE, the Board of Education of the Huntington Beach
School District of Orange County, California passed a resol-
ution on February 1 , 1965, requesting the City of Huntington
Beach to make a study and to determine if a flashing signal
at the intersection of Adams and Main, in the City of Hunt.
ington Beech is justified as a protective measure; and
WHEREAS, the said Board of Education made a further re..
quest that if such finding be made and a traffic signal be so
installed, that the Huntington Beach School District would
pay one-half of the cost of installing said traffic signal,to
the City of Huntington Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City of Huntington Beach makes a finding
that a traffic signal at the intersection of Main and Adams,
In the City of Huntington Beach, should be installed; and
2. That the City agrees to pay for such installation
and to accept one half of the cost from the Huntington Beach
School District,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held the 1st day of
February, 1965.

that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of February
1965.
