A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BELCH AUTHORIZING THE
APPOINTMENT OF POLIC39,1AN BERTRAND Wo
CHADWICK AT CC'dPENSArj'.'ION GREATER THAN THE
MINIMUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETM111INED
BY ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of
additional police perso-.,-mel; and
WHEaZAS, the City Council has determined that it Is to
the public interest that additional police personnel be em-
ployed at above the minimum compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the edu-
cational qualifications and experience of Bertrand W.
Chadwick justify a beginning salary In excess of said mini-
mum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit, Range 389
Step C.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 15th day
of February, 1965.

City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of
the City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number
of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is f ive;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative
vote of more than a majority of all the members of sai d City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of
February , 1965.
