WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of additional police perso-.,-mel; and WHEaZAS, the City Council has determined that it Is to the public interest that additional police personnel be em- ployed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the edu- cational qualifications and experience of Bertrand W. Chadwick justify a beginning salary In excess of said mini- mum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit, Range 389 Step C. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.
