HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2146 RESOLUTION No. 2146 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO SECTION 12.5 OF THE FIFE PREVENTION CODE AND SECTION 4112.1.2 OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH GRDINANCE CODE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH HEREBY RESOLVES that the requirements, under Section 12.5 of the Fire Prevention Code which states that the Board of Fire Prevention will set the amount for the bond required in the issuance of a permit for blasting, will be as follows: Public Property Liability Damage Explosives or Blasting agents from 0 to 50 pounds 59000 - 109000 10,000 Explosives or Blasting agents from 50 to 100 pounds 109000 - 509000 50,000 Explosives or Blasting agents from 100 to 500 pounds 50000 - 1009000 100,000 Explosives or Blasting agents from over 500 pounds 100,000 - 3009000 300,000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that under Section 4.112.1.2 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, the Fire chief will set a bond or Certificate of Insurance for the purpose of fire works display and that the following schedule will apply: 1. Res. No. 2146 "Permittee :hall furnish a bond or certificate of insurance in minimum sum of $100,000 for bodily injury to a single person and 000,000 for each accident and the aggregate sutra of �50000 property damage for payment of all damages which may be caused either to persons or property by reasons of permitted public display, arising from any acts of the permittee, his agents, employees or subcontractors."
