HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2229 RESOLUTION NO. 2229 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINT- MENT OF POLICEMAN BRIAN F. .MOORE AT COMPENSA- TION GREATER THAN THE MINIMUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of additional police personnel; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional police personnel be em- ployed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the edu- cational qualifications and experience of Brian F. Moore justify a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compen- sation as set forth by ordinance, to wit: Range 39, Step B. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Brian F. Moore be and he is hereby appointed as Policeman at a beginning salary, to wit: Range 39, Step B. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of adjourned Huntington Beach at a regular/meeting held on the 30th day of August, 1965.
