HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2236 RESOLUTION NO. 2236 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF CLERK-DISPATCHER LARRY S. MAY AT COMPENSATION GREATER THAT THE MINIKX COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE, WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of an additional Clerk-Dispatcher; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional police personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the edu- cational qualifications and experience of Larry S. May justify a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compen- sation as set forth by ordinance, to wit : Range 33, Step B. NOW THEREFORE, .BE IT RESOLVED that Larry S. May be and he is hereby appointed as Clerk-Dispatcher at a beginning salary, to wit: Range 33, Step B.
