A BESOL€T ION OF INTENTION OF TF]E CITY
COMIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORN`IA TO VACATE A PORTION OF TERRY
DRIVE IN SAID CITY AND GIVING NOTICE OF
HEARING ON SAID VACATION.
WREFMA5, Terry Drive was contemplated to be changed from a thru
street to a cul-de-sac street in accordance with improvement plans for
Tract No. 5735; and
WfiEFtEAS, the map of Tract No. 5735 did dedicate right of Way to
the public use for this cul-de-sac; and
WHEREAS, as a result of hearings, studies and recommendations,
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach ordered that Terry
Drive remain a through street; and
WFAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach desires
to vacate that portion of Terry Drive as hereinafter described:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach,
California, does resolve, determine, find, stipulate, and declare as
follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
hereby declare its intention to vacate that portion of Terry Drive,
within the City of Huntington Beach, described as follows:
That portion of Terry Drive, shown on a map of Tract No. 5735,
recorded in Book 208, Pages 10 and 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, being more particularly described as
follows

Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 5735;
thence North 00 17' 30" Ust along the Westerly line of said Lot 1 a
distance of 60.00 feet to the true point of beginning, said point being
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius
of 20.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 999 33' 26" an are distance of 34.75 feet to a tangent reverse
curve concave Northerly having a radius of 40.00 feet; thence Easterly
and Northeasterly through a central angle of 520 12' 25" an are distance
of 36.45 feet to a tangent reverse curve concave Southeasterly having a
radius of 50.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 190 45' 34" an are distance of 17.24 feet to a point
on the Northerly line of said Lot 1; thence North 890 31' 29e 'West
51.52 feet to a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius
of 20.00 feet; thence Southwesterly, along said curve, through a central
angle of 900 111 01" an are distance of 31.48 feet; thence South
00 17' 30" West 19.20 feet to the true point of beginning.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, reference is
hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City.
Section 2. That title to the portion of Terry Drive, being vacated,
described in Section 1 above shall be considered conveyed to the owner
of record of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 5735.
Section 3. That notice is hereby given that the 6th day of
December, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Chamber
in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California, is the time and place

when and where a public hearing shall be held upon said resolution of
intention to vacate said above described portion of Terry Drive, at
which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation may be heard.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause
a copy of this resolution of intention to be published in the Huntington
Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the City of Huntington Beach, by one insertion prior to the hearing
as set forth in Section 3 hereof.
Section 5: The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, in
vacating the portion of Terry Drive, as above described, does elect
to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941,
Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of
California.
Section 6: The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized and
directed to post notices of street vacation as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day
of October, 1965.

COUNTY OF ORANGE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
It PAUL C. JONES., the duly elected., qualified and acting City Clerk
of the City of Huntington Beach., and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council
of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the
City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more than
a majority of all the members of said City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 18th day of Octobert 1965, by the following vote:
