HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2256 RESOLUTION NO. 2256 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF POLICEMAN GEORGE RENEF AT COMPENSATION GREATER THAN THE MINIS COM- PENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntington. Beach is in need of additional Police Department personnel; and WM1REAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional Police Department personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and AREAS, the City Council has determined that the educational qualifications and experience of George Benek justify a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit: Range 39, Step B. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that George Renek be and he is hereby appointed as Policeman at a beginning salary, to-wit: Range 39, Step B.
