A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
APPOINTMENT OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR HARRY
C. RATTELMAN AT COMPENSATION GREATER THAN
THE MINIMUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED
BY ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need
of additional Building Department personnel; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
to the public interest that additional Building Department
personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
educational qualifications and experience of Harry C.
Rattelman justify a beginning salary in excess of said
minimum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-Wit:
Range 40.5, Step C.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Harry C.
Rattelman be and he is hereby appointed as Electrical
Inspector at a beginning salary, to-wit; Range 40.5, Step C.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 15th_
day of November, 1965.

acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five, that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of November ,
19 65 , by the following vote:
