FMOLUT ION No. 2270 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HU1iTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF HOURLY WAGES FOR LhCH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORK_- MAN OR ?MU FJONIC NEEDED FOR THIS RECONSTRUCTION, �URFACI«G, AND IMPROVE1=5 OF THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS AND STREETS: WARDER. AVENUE- FROM BEACH BOULEVARD TO 520 FEET WEST OF MiLf lD STREIT; YOa''TO N AVENUE FROM 720 = EAST OF BROOKHURST STRE13T TO 1540 FLU EAST OF BROOKKURST STREET; BEACH BOULEVARD FRONT. INDIANAPOLIS AVENUE TO JOLIET AVENUE; AND INDIANAPOLIS AVENUE FROM BEACH BOULE- VARD TO GEORGIA STPMT; ALL IN TIS CITY OF HUNTING- TON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. SAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general pre- vailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the reconstruction, surfacing, and improvements of the following High- ways and Streets: Warner Avenue from Beach Boulevard to 520 feet west of Newland Street; Yorktown Avenue from 720 feet east of Brookhurst Street to 1540 feet east of Brookhurst Street; Beach Boulevard from Indianapolis .Avenue to Joliet 1venue; and Indianapolis Avenue from Beach Boulevard to Georgia Street; all in the City of Huntington Beach and has considered evidence presented. CREW MASONS - Time and one-half for the first three hours after the regularly constituted straight time shift., and all other overtime shall be double time. OPERATING ENGIh'FXRS - First three hours outside the regularly constituted shift shall be at the rate of time and one-half. All additional hours shall be at double-time. On Saturday work., the first eleven hours shall be at time and one-half and all ad6itional hours at double time. Sundays shall be double-time. Resolution No.2270 IRON WORMS - Double time shall be paid for any and all work in excess of eight (8) hours on any regular work day and for all time worked on Saturdays,, Sundays and recognized holidays. LABORMS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays,, which are double time. TEATZTERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are double time. "The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the schedule., but which may be required to execute the proposed contract, shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar or comparable duties in the ,Southern California Master Labor Agreements." The rates per hour,, indicated above are based upon the local pre- vailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Hourly rates of pay are based upon eight hours per day for a full day or • fractional part of a day. The per them wages of a fractional part of • day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
