HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2294 RESOLUTION No. 2294 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THAT CERTAIN MASTER LAND USE PLAN ENTITLED "MASTER PLAN OF LAND USE, REVISED JANUARY 1919619" BY ADOPTING THE AMENDMENT TO THE PIASTER PLAN OF LAND USE, STUDY AREA V. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hunt- ington Beach, California has held a public hearing as re- quired by lax on that certain amendment to the "Master Plan of Land Use, Study Area V;" and WHEREAS, said amendment is being adopted to: (a) Promote the health, safety, welfare and convenience of the general public. (b) Serve as a general guide for the develop- ment of public and private lands. (c) Provide an authenticated source of infor- mation for residents and investors of the City; and (d) To obviate the menace to public safety and property values resulting from inadequate co-operation and planning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt that certain amendment entitled "Master Plan of Land Use - Study Area V. as part of the Master Plan of Land Use of the City of Huntington Beach, with the following changes: 1. The parcel located approximately 2009 north of Mansion Avenue with frontage on the west side of Goldenwest Street shall be changed from Commercial to Office-Professional use. 1, Res. Noe 2294 2. The parcel indicated for commercial use at the northeast corner of Clay Avenue and Goldenwest Street shall be deleted from the plan; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clark shall certify on said map, Its adoption by the Council of the City of Huntington Beach.
