AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING BORDEN DRIVE
IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 6th day
of December, 1965, at a regular meeting of said body, regu-
larly and duly adopt Resolution No. 2269, entitled, "A Res-
olution of Intention of the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, to vacate Borden Drive in said
City and Giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941, Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and
Highway Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach
did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to be pub-
lished in the Huntington Beach Mews, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of Huntington
Beach, by one insertion on the 9th day of December, 1965;
and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the
6th day of December, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 P.H. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, Califor-
nia, was the time and place when and where a public hearing

was to be held upon said resolution of Intention at which
hearing all persons Interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation may be heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as re-
quired by lawit
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all per-
sons Interested appearing before said Council, does hereby
find from all the evidence submitted that all of Borden
Drive in Tract No. 5792, herein described, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes.
Section 2. It is hereby ordered that Borden, Drive
in Tract 5792, within the City of Huntington Beach, de-
scribed as:
All of Borden Drive in. Tract No. 5792 in the City
of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Boob 220,
pages 8 through 11, inclusive, of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, lying West-
erly of the Southwesterly prolongation of the
Northwesterly line of Greenleaf bane, 60.00 feet
in width, as shown on said map,
be and the same Is hereby vacated for public street pur-
poses. .

Section 3, The City Clerk Is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this order, attested
by the City Clerk under the seal of this City, together with
a certified copy of Resolution 2269 to be recorded In the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.

acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of February ,
