AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING PORTIONS OF
BOLSA AVENUE AND SPRINGDALE STREET IN
SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 3rd day
of January, 1966, at a regular meeting of said body, regu-
larly and duly adopt Resolution No. 2290, entitled "A
Resolution of Intention of the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California to vacate portions of Bolsa
Avenue and Springdale Street in said city and giving Notice
of Hearing on said Vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 1941, Division 9, Part 3 of the
Streets and Highway Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the portions of the streets to be vacated lie
within the City of Huntington Beach and are not a portion
of a State Highway; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of
Huntington Beach, by one insertion on the 6th day of
January, 1966; and

WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the 7th
day of February, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in
the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was
the time and place when and where a public hearing was to
be held upon said resolution of intention at which hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation may be heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as requir-
ed by law;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach does resolve as follows;
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all persons
Interested appearing before said Council, does hereby find
from all evidence submitted that the portions of Boise
Avenue and Springdale Street herein described are unnecessary
for present or prospective public street and alley purposes.
Section 2. It is hereby ordered that portions of those
certain streets in the City of Huntington Beach described
as:
PARCEL A.
"That portion of the southwest quarter of Section lo,
Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base
and Merian, in the County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 13,
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said section,
said colter being the centerline intersection ofSpring-
dale Street and Bolsa Avenue; thence North 89 34'13"

east along the south iine of said section, said south
line being the centerline of Bolsa Avenue, a distance
of 289.87 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, con-
cave to the southwest and having a radius of 1200.00
feet; thence southeesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 10 131 25", an are distance of 214.12
feet; thence north 90 47' 38" east radially a distance
of 60. 00 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve, con-
cave to the southwest and having a radius of 1260.00
feet, said poin� being the true point of beginning;
thence north 89 3013"' east 81.39 feet to a point on a
non-tangent curve, concave northeasterly and northwest-
erly, having a radius of 30.00 fe0t, a radial line
through said point bears north 46 25' 25" west; thence
southwesterly and northwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 53 37, 44", an are distance of 28.08
feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave to
the northeast and having a radius of 1140.00 feet, a
radial line through said beginning of compound curve
through a central angle of 20 42' 31", an are distance
of 53.89 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, con-
cave to the southwest and having a radius of 1260.00
feet, a radial line through said beginning of reverse
curve bears north 905050" east; thence northwesterly
along said reverse curve throu h a central angle of 00
07' 12", an are distance of 2. 4 feet to the true point
of _beginning; and
That portion of the southwest quarter of Section 10,
Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian, in the County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 13
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, de-
scribed as follows:
PARCEL .
Beginning at the southwest corner of said section,
said corner being the centerline intersection of Spring-
dale Street and Bolsa Avenue; thence north 89®34'13"
east along the south line of said southwest quarter a
distance of 720.80 feet; thence north 4 25' 47" west a
distance of 21.g0 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence north 89 34,13" east, parallel with the south
line of said southwest quarter, a distance of 42.02
feet; thence north 00 2547" west a distance of 19.00
feet; thence south 89° 34' 13" west, parallel with the
south line of said southwest quarter, a distance of
97.25 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve, concave
to the northeast and having a radius of 30.00 feet, a
radial line through said point bears north 670 21' 37"
east; thence southwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 66 22' 22", an are distance of 34.75
feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave

ornia, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 13
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, de-
scribed as follows
PARCEL C.
Beginning at the northwest corner of said north-
west quarter, said corner being the centerline inter-
section of Springdale Street and Bolse Avenue; thence
south 00 40' 25" east along the west line of said
northwes� quarter, a distance of 590.82 feet; thence
north 89 34' 26" east a distance of 7.00 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence continuing along said
course A distance of 23.00 feet to a line bearing
north ov 40' 25" west, parallel with the west line of
said northwest quarter and distant 30.00 feet easterly
therefrom.; thence northerly along said course a dis-
tance of 208.63 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve,
concave northwesterly and having a radius of 1050#00 0
feet, a radial line through said point bears north 79
28' 22" west, thence southwesterly along said curve th
through a central angle of 00 42106", an are distance
of 12.86 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, con-
cave to the southwast and having a radius of 950.00

Section 3. That title to those portions of right-of-
way, being vacated, shall be considered to have the follow-

A. Title to that portion of Bolsa Avenue, Described in
Parcel A in Section 1 above, shall be considered conveyed to
the owners of record of the property northerly of and adjacent
to the northerly line of Parcel A.
B. Title to that portion of Bolse Avenue, described in
Parcel B in Section 2 above, shall be considered conveyed to
the owners of record of the property northerly of and adjacent
to the northerly line of Parcel B.
C. Title to that portion of Springdale Street, describ-
ed as Parcel C in Section 3 above, shall be considered convey-
ed to the owners of record of the property easterly of and
adjacent to the easterly line of Parcel C.
Section 4. The City t.lerk is hereby authorized and di-
rected to cause a certified copy of this order, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of this City, together with a
certified copy of Resolution No. 2290 to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder, Orange County, California.
PASSED ARID ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 21st day of February ,
1966.

resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of February
