AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING TWO PORTIONS
OF AN ALLEY LOCATED IN TRACT No 4992 IN
SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 3rd day
of January, 1966, at a regular meeting of said body, regu-
larly and duly adopt Resolution No. 2291, entitled, "A
Resolution of Intention of the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California to Vacate Two portions of an
alley located in Tract No. 4992 in said City and Giving
Notice of Hearing on said Vacation"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 1941, Division 9, Part 3 of the
Streets and Highway Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the portions of the alleys to be vacated ly
within. the City of Huntington Beach and are not a portion
of a State Highway; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of
Huntington Beach, by one insertion

WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the 7th
day of February, 1966, at the hour 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the
Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was the
time and place when and where a public hearing was to be
held upon said resolution of intention at which hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
may be heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as requir-
ed by law;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach does resolve as follows :
Section 1, The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all persons
interested appearing before said Council, does hereby find
from all evidence submitted that those portions of an alley
located within the City of Huntington Beach herein described
are unnecessary for present or prospective public street
or alley purposes.
Section 2. It is hereby ordered that those portions of
an alley in Tract No. 4992 in the City of Huntington Beach,
California, described as :
PARCEL A.
Beginning at the southeast corner og Lot No,50 of
said Tract No. 4992; thence north 0 30'15" west
64.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence
north 4g030'15" west 14.14 feet to a point; thence
north 0 30'15" west 20.00 feet to a point in the
north boundary line of Tract No.4992; thence north

89029,45" east 18.92 feet, along said boundary line,
to a point; thence south 160 03'15" wext 31.30 feet
to the True Point of Beginning. _
PARCEL B.
Beginning at the southwest corer of Lot 57 of said
Tract No. 4992; thence north 0 30' 15" west 37,64 feet
to the true Point of Beginning; thence north 17b55'51"
east 31.62 feet to a point in the north boundary line
of Tract No. 4992; thence south 00 30' 150 east 20.00
feet to a point; thence south 4402-9'45" west 14.14 feet
to the True Point of Beginning*
be and the same is hereby vacated for alley purposes.
Section 3.A.That title to Parcel A, being vacated, de-
scribed in Section 2 above shall be conveyed to the owner of
record of Lot No. 50 of said Tract.
B. That title to Parcel B. being vacated, de-
scribed in Section 2 above shall be considered conveyed to
the owner of record of Lot No.57 of said Tract No, 4992•
Section 4-The City Clerk is hereby authorized and di-.
rected to cause a certified copy of this order, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of this City, together with a cer•.
tified copy of Resolution No. 2291 to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 21st day of February ,
1966.

I , PAUL Ca JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of February,
19 66 , by the following vote-
