A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
APPOINTMENT OF POLICEMAN ROBERT MORRISON
AT COMPENSATION GREATER THAN THE MINIMUM
FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach Is In need
of additional personnel in the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
to the public interest that additional police personnel be
employed at above the minimum compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
educational qualifications and experience of Robert
Morrison justify a beginning salary in excess of said mini-
mum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit:
Range 39, Step C.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Robert Morrison
be and he is hereby appointed as Policeman at a beginning
salary, to-wit: Range 39, Step C.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 4th
day of April , 1966.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of April
19 66 , by the following vote
