A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH

WHERCASP the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of furnishing and erection of
concrete street lighting standards on California Street between
Detroit Ave. and Geneva Ave., Walnut Ave. Between 13th Street and
loth Street, 14th Street between Walnut Ave. and Olive Ave., and
13th Street between Orange Ave. and Magnolia Ave., in the City of
Huntington Beach, California.
NOW THEREPOPE9 BE IT RESOLVEN That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workosa:
needed for the furnishing and erection of concrete street lighting
standards on California Street between Detroit Ave. and Geneva Ave.:
Walnut Ave. Between 13th Street and llath Street, 14th Street between
Walnut Ave. and Olive Ave., and 13th Street between Orange Ave. and
Magnolia Ave., in the City of Huntington Beach, Californiap and the
general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as
follows:

LABOREMS Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are
double time.
OPERATING ENGINEERS - Time and one-half for all overtime, except
Sundays and holidays, Mich are double time.
T+' NSTERS - Time and one-bal.f, except Sundays and holidays, Which are
double time.
The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the
schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract,
shall be commensurate and in accord With the rates specified for
similar or comparable duties in the Southern California Master Labor
Agreements.

The rates per hour indicated above are bated upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour. Hourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for
a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a
fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rater per hour multi—
plied by the number of hours worked on said dap other than for over—
time and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California this 2nd day of May, 1966.
