A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ACCEPTING DEDICATION
OF THE MIDWAY SANITATION DISTRICT FACILITIES
LYING WITHIN THE CITY AND REPEALING RESOL-
UTION NO. 2368 ADOPTED ON MAY 16, 1966.
WHEREAS, a portion of the Midway Sanitation District
lies within the territory of the City of Huntington Beach,
and
WHEREAS, the people living in this area are presently
paying taxes both to the Midway Sanitation District and the
City of Huntington Beach, and
WHEREAS, the people residing in this area should be
served under one agency, and
WHEREAS, the Midway Sanitation District has initiated
proceedings to detach a portion of their Sanitation District,
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH HEREBY RESOLVES that the City will accept title and
responsibility for maintenance of all sewerage facilities
belonging to the Midway Sanitation District within the terr-
itory to be deannexed, together with title to and responsi-
bility for maintenance of a certain sewerage line running
from the easterly boundary of said territory along Talbert
Street to Bushard Street in the City of Fountain Valley be
transferred to and accepted by the City of Huntington Beach.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City will
provide trash pick-up services within the territory located
in the City of Huntington Beach.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution
No. 2368, adopted on the 16th day of May, 1966, is hereby
repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 6th day of Tt,nP, 1966.

acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of June ,
