A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CHANGING THE NAME OF
CANNERY STREET TO MAGNOLIA STREET.
WHEREAS, Magnolia Street runs from the Santa Ana Free-
way to the city limits of Huntington Beach where it then be-
comes Cannery Street; and
WHEREAS, this results in confusion; and
WHEREAS, the County Street Naming Committee has re-
quested that this City change the name of Cannery Street to
Magnolia Street,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach that Cannery Street be and it
is hereby changed to Magnolia Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be directed
to send certified copies of this resolution to the County
Clerk of Orange County and to the County Surveyor of Orange
County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 20th day of June , 1966.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of June ,
19 66 , by the following vote :
