W111EREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general pre— vailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the slurry seal of the following streets: Acacia Avenue between Eleventh Street and Sixth Street; Huntington Avenue between Joliet Street and 11"emphis Street; Geneva Street between Alabama Avenue and Delaware Avenue; and Magnolia Avenue between Eleventh Street and Sixth Street; all in the City of Huntington Beach, California and has considered evidence presented, N9V TILMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the general prevailing rate of hourly gages in this locality for workmen needed in the slurry seal of the following streets: Acacia Avenue be— tween Eleventh Street and Sixth Street; Huntington Avenue between Joliet Street and Memphis Street; Geneva Street between Alabama Avenue and Delaware Y�venue; and Hagnolia :venue between Eleventh Street and SixthStreet; all in the City of Huntington Beacht and the general pre— vailing rate of legal holidays and overtime work, is as follows: HOUMY ,AGE TRADE OR OCCUPATION: BATE: 01MATING 0NGINMMS Health & Welfare — 15¢ per hour 1 RESOLUTION N0, 2391 HOURLY WAGE TR'-DE OR OCCir:'ATICN: RATE: OPERATING - (coat'd.) All additional hours shall be at double-time. On Saturday work, the first eleven hours shall be at time and one-half and all additional hours at double-time. Sundays shall be double-time. LOORMS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are double-time. TvIIISTFft,i - Tide and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are double-time. "The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract, shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar or comparable duties in the Southern California piaster Labor. Agreements." The rates per hour, indicated above ore based upon the local pre- vailing rates per da%_ being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Hourly rates of nay are based upon eight hours per day for a full day* or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages of a fractional part of P. day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays. 4 RESOLUTION NO. 2391 PASSm MD ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California at a regular meeting; thereof held on the 20th day of June 1966.
