HOURLY WAGES FOR EACH CRAn OR TYPE OF WORK-
MAN OR. M:r NIC NEEDED FOR THE QUDING, IMEk-
ROVEMENT, AND DOMPMENT OF MMUDY PARK IN
THE CITY OF NWINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
WEiE AS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general pre—
vailing rate of hourly gages in this locality for workmen needed for
the grading, improvement, and development of Murdy Park in the City of
Huntington Beach and has considered evidence presented,
NOW THER'E',EpRE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find# established and determine that
the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for work-
men needed in the grading, improvement, and development of Murdy Park
in the City of Huntington Beach, California, and the general prevailing
rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows:

retularly constituted straight time shift, and all other overtime shall
be double time'
OPERATING EMPM — First three hours outside the regularly constituted
shift shall be at the rate of time and one—half. All additional hours
shall be at double—time. On Saturday work, the first eleven hours shall
be at time and one—half and all additional hours at double time..° Sundays
shall be double—time .'
IRON WORMS — Doable time shall be paid for wW and all work in excess
of eight (8) hours on any regular work day and for all time worked on
Saturdays, Sundays and recognized holidays.

"The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the
schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract*
shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar
or comparable duties in the Southern California Master Labor Agreement."
The rates per hour, indicated above are based upon the local pre—
vailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour:'
Hourly rates of pay are based upon eight hours per day for a full day or
a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages of a fractional part of
a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of
hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal
Holidays.
