A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO THE RENUMBER-
ING OF STREETS IN THE"OLD TOWN"SECTION OF THE
CITY
WHEREAS, there exists in the "Old Town" section of
Huntington Beach a disparity in the numbering of streets so
they do not conform with street numbers elsewhere in the
City; and
WHEREAS, the Council feels it would be in the best in-
terests of the City to adopt a uniform street numbering
system,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The "Old Town" Section of Huntington Beach shall be
renumbered to correspond with the County numbering system
so that we will have a uniform numbering system throughout
the City and such renumbering shall become effective on the
closing date in 1967 for submittal of changes for inclusion
in the November 1967 telephone directory and the affected
property owners shall be given the new addresses in suffic-
ient time to allow them to change over to the new system by
the date above mentioned.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California , this 18th day of July
1966.

acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the. City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of July ,
19 66 by the following vote :
