RESOLUTION NO. 2469
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH, CALIFORNIA TO VACATE A SIX FOOT
WALKWAY EASEMENT LYING WESTERLY FROM
PARKER CIRCLE WITHIN THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the map of Tract No. 3506 dedicated a six foot
wide easement for walkway purposes to the public; and
WHEREAS, the easement has not been utilized for the in-
tended purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
has ruled the easement to be unnecessary for the good of the
public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
desires to vacate the easement as hereinafter described:
NOW THEREFORE, The city Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, does resolve, determine, find, stipulate, and
declare as follows:
Section 1 . The City Council 6,f the City of Huntington
Beach does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain
walkway, within the City of Huntington Beach, described as
follows :
That walkway, six feet in width as shown on a map of
Tract No. 3506, recorded in book 129 pages 33 and 34 of Miscel-
laneous Maps , records of Orange Courjty, California, being
bounded on the north by the north line of the south 3. 00 feet
of lot No. 35 of said tract, being bounded on the south by the
south Line of the north 3. 00 feet of lot No. 36 of said tract,
being bounded on the west by the west boundary line of said

tract, and being bounded on the east by the circular westerly
right-of-way line of Parker Circle.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, refer-
ence is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That notice is hereby given that the 16th day
of January, 1967, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter
as possible, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington
Beach, California, is the time and place when and where a public
hearing shall be held upon said resolution of intention to vacate
public passage rights to said above described walkway, at which
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation may be heard.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a copy of this resolution of intention to be published
in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, by one
insertion prior to the hearing as set forth in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, in vacating the above described walkway, does elect to
proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of
1941 , Division 9, part 3, of the Streets and Highway Code of
the State of California.
Section 5. The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized
and directed to post notices of street vacation as required by
law,

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 5th day of December, 1966.

I , PAUL Co JONES , the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of December ,
19 66 , by the following vote :
