A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING
THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF HOURLY WAGES
FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORKMAN OR MECHANIC
NEEDED IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF
A ROTARY DRILLED, GRAVEL ENVELOPE WATER WELL
IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
1HEREAS9 the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has con-
ducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing
rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed in the construc-
tion and development of a rotary drilled, gravel envelope water well in
the dity of Huntington Beach' California and has considered evidence
presented.
NOW THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach does hereby find, established and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen
needed in the construction and development of a rotary drilled# gravel
envelope water well in the city of Huntington Beach, Cal.iforniap and the
general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows:

Vacation - 200 per hour
Pension plan - 300 per hour

OVERTIME RATES
CEMENT MASONS - Time and one-half for the first three hours after the
regularly constituted straight time shift, and all other overtime shall
be double time.
LA-BUMS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are double
time.
TEAMSTERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are
double time.
The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the
schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract, shall
be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar or

comparable duties in the Southern California Master Labor Agreements*
The rates per houry indicated above are based upon the local pre-
vailing rates per day being eight (8) times the above scheduled rate per
hour. Hourly rates of pay are base upon eight (8) hours per day for a full
day or a fractional part of a day. The per them wages of a fractional part
of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of
hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal
Holidays.
