HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2496 RESOLUTION No. 2496 AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING ABLE LANE IN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 7th day of November, 1966, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly and duly adopt Resolution No. 2452, entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach to Vacate Able Lane In said City and Giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation*; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach did elect- to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 19419 Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach did cause, a copy of said Resolution of Intention to be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of gener- al circulation printed and published in the City of Hunting- ton Beach by one insertion on the loth day of November, 1966; and WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the 19th day of December, 1966, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California, was the time and place, when and where a public hearing was to be held upon said Resolution of Intention, at 1. Res. No. 2496 which hearing. all persons Interested In or objecting to the proposed vacation could be heard; and WHEREAS, Notice of Vacation of Able Lane was posted., as required by law; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunt- ington Bead, after hearing the evidence offered by all per- sons interested in said matter, does hereby find from all evidence submitted, that Able Lanes herein described as: That portion of Section 9, Township 5 South, Range 11 Westq San Bernardino Base and Meridians In the City of Huntington Beach, County of Oranges State of California, as per map recorded in book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, In the office of the County Recorder in said County, described as follows: parcel "lu A parcel of land 80.00 feet wide the center line of which Is described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said section, said comer being de- scribed as the center brie of Springdale Street and Bolsa Avenue; thence South 89 39' 05* West 1324.59 feet to the center line Intersection with Bolsa Avenue and the proposed s8reet, which is the true point of beginning; thence North 0 39' 330 West 2312,07 feet along a line parallel with and Westerly l324-59 feet of Springdale Street measured along the South side of said section, to a point of intersection with the Southerly line of the land described in a deed to United States of America recorded December 199 1944, In book 1296 page 88 of Official Records; the side lines are to be prolonged or lengthened or shortened so as to terminate on the South by the center line of said Bolsa Avenue and on the North by the Southerly line of said deed to the United States of America. parcel "2" Beginning at the center line intersection of pro- sed street and Bolsa Avenue as It now exists; thence North P08 39; 330 West 60.00± feet; thence South 89 391 050 west 40.00- feet t8 the true point of beginning; thence'continuing South 89 399 05" West 30.16 feet to a point of cusps the beginning of a curve concave to the North- west having a radius of 30-00 feet; thence Easterly and North- erXy along said curve 47.29 feet through a central angle of 2. The City Clerk Is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Order, attested to by the Clerk under the seal of this City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,, California.
