A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA TO VACATE AN ALLEY IN SAID
CITY AND GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SAID VACATION.
WHEREAS, the Tract Map, Map of Wintersburg, recorded in Book
4, Page 78 Af Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
dedicated alleys, 15 feet in width, to the public use; and
WHEREAS, several of the alleys have previously been vacated
by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, existing and planned development on Blocks C,and E
of said Tract utilize Palmdale Lane for access; and
WHEREAS, that certain alley, hereinafter described, has no
further 'value to the public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
desired to vacate that certain alley as hereinafter described;
NOW, TBEPMORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, does resolve, determine, find, stipulate, and dec-
lare as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain alley, within
the City of Huntington Beach, described as follows:
A strip of land, 15 feet in width, lying adjacent to and
easterly of the easterly line of Block C and its southerly prolongation,
and easterly of Block E and its northerly and southerly prolongation, as
shown on Map of Wintersburg, recorded in Book 4, Page 78 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California, lying between the easterly

prolongation of the north line of Lot 1 of said Block C and a line,
parallel to and 15 feet north, measured at right angles, from the
south right of way line of Cedar Street, as shown on said Map of
Wintersburg.
For further particulars as to the proposed 'vacation, reference
is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City.
Section 2. That title to said alley being vacated, described
in Section 1 above, shall be considered to be conveyed to the owners of
record of the abutting lots in Blocks C and E of said Tract, Map of
Wintersburg.
Section 3. That notice is hereby given that the 15th day of
May, 1967, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., , or as soon thereafter as possible,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California,
is the time and place when and where a public hearing shall be held upon
said resolution of intention to vacate that certain alley, herein des-
cribed, at which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation may be heard.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a, Gc,py of this resolution of intention to be published in the
Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulations printed and
published in the City of Huntington Beach, by one insertion prior to the
hearing as set forth in Section 3 hereof.

Section 5. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach2
in vacating that certain alley located in the tract, Map of Wintersburg,
as above described, does elect to proceed under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 19419 Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
Section 6. The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized and
directed to post notices of street vacation as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of
April, 1967.

of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd
day of April 19 67 , by the following vote:
