HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2562 RESOLUTION NO. 2562 A RES OLUT ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BMCH, CALIFORNIA AWARDING CONTRACT MSESSMENr DISTRICT NO. 6403 M I WHEREAS , sealed proposals or bids for performing the work and improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 2530 of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif- ornia , adopted March 20, 1967 , which said resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improve- ments and for all other particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution of intention, have been publicly opened and examined, and said City Council has declared the result of said bids at its meeting of May 1, 1967: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City C ounc it of the City of Huntington Beach, California , in regular session assembled this 1st day of May, 1967 , that said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids , except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: SULLY MILLER CONTRACTING COMPANY, Orange, California BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to publish notice of said award twice in the HUNTINGTON BEACH NEWS , a newspaper published and circulated in said City of Huntington Beach, State of California , -1- Res . No. 2562 and heretofore designated for that purpose by said City Council. ADOPTED the 1st day of May, 1967 .
