AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEEACH VACATING AIN ALLEY LYING
IN A NORTH/SOUTH DIRECTION, NIEST OF SOUTHERN
PACIFIC NIGHT-OF-WAY AND SOUTHERLY OF WARNER
AVENUE, IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, Califoriais, did by unanimous vote on the 5th day of
April, 1967, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly
and duly adopt Resolution No. 2543, entitled, "A Resolution
of Intention of the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, to Vacate an Alley in said City and Giving
Notice of Hearing on said Vacation" ; and
GIHZR-EAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941, Division 91 part 1, of the Streets and
Highway Code of the Stote of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach
did cause a copy of said resolution of Intention to be pub-
lished in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published In the City of Huntington
Beach by one insertion on the 15th day of May, 1967; and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the
15th day of Nay, 1967, at the hour of 7:30 o(clock P-M- 1 in
the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington BeachoCalif-
ornia, was the time and place, when and where a public hear-
ing was to be held upon said Resolution of Intention, at which
hearing all persons Interested in or objecting to the proposed

vacation could be heard; and
14THEREAS, Notice of Vacation of the alley lying in a
north/south direction, west of Southern Pacific Hight-of-
way and southerly of Warner Avenue, was posted, as required
by law;
NOW, THEHEFURE, the City Council of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all per-
sons interested in said matter, does hereby find from all
evidence submitted, that the alley lying in a north/south
direction, west of Southern Pacific Hight of ,,day and south-
erly of Warner Avenue, and herein described as follows;
A strip of land, 15 feet in width, lying adjacent
to and easterly of the easterly line of Block C and
its southerly prolongation and easterly of Block E and its n
northerly and southerly prolongation, as shown on a Map
of Wintersburg, recorded in Book 4, page 78 of Miscell-
aneous daps, Records of Orange County, _California, lying
between the easterly prolongation of the north line of
Lot 1 of said Block C and a line, parallel to and 15
feet north, measured at right angles, from the south
right of way line of Cedar Street, as shown on said
Map of tk;intersburg,
be and the same is hereby vacated.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause a certified copy of this Order, attested to by the
Clerk under the seal of this City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Hecorder of Orange County, California.

I , PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th
day of June 19 67 by the following vote :
