HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 2588 r RESOLUTION No. 2588 AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING A PORTION OF WARNER AVENUE IN SAID CITY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 1st: day of May,. , 1967, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly and duly adopt Resolution No. 2553, entitled, "A Resolution of In- tention of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, to vacate a portion of- darner Avenue in said City and Giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation"; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, ,Division 99 Part 3 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach did cause a copy of said Resolution of Intention to be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of gener- al circulation printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach by one insertion on the 4th day of May, 1967; and WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the 5th day of June, 1967s at the hour of 7:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California , was the time and place, when and 1. Res. No. 2588 where a public hearing was to be held upon said Resolution of Intention, at which hearing all persons interested in or ob- jecting to the proposed vacation could be heard; and WHEREAS, Notice of Vacation of a portion of Warner Avenue was posted, as required by law; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting- ton Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all persons interested in said matter, does hereby find from all evidence submitted, that the portion of Warner Avenue herein described as ; That portion of the Northeast quarter of the North- west quarter of Fractional Section 29, Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Merid- ian, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County de- scribed as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Fractional Section 29; thence North 00439228 West 369.48 feet along the east line of the said Northeast quarter to a point on a curve concave to the Northwest hav- ing a radius of 645.00 feet, a radial line through said point bears South 69011'38" East; thence south- westerly along Said curve 71.78 feet through a cen- tral angle of 6 22936" to the true point of beginning; thence continuing alon& said curve southwesterly 280.67 feet through a central angle of ? 55956" to a point, a radial line through said point bears South 37 53'06" East; thence North 37 53'06" West along said radial line 90.00 feet to a point on a curve concave to the Northwest having a radius of 555.00 feet; thence Northeasterly 241.51 feet along said curve through a central angle of 24055' 56" to a point, a radial line through said point bears South 62°49�p2" East; thence South 62 49102" East along said radial line 90.00 feet to the True point of Beginning. 2. Res. No. 2588 be and the same is hereby vacated. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Order, attested to by the Clerk under the seal of this City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
