A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH SUPPORTING THE ADOPTION OF AB-170-5 RELAT-
ING TO THE COMPENSATION OF CITY COUNCILMEN.
WHEREAS, the matter of salaries of city councilmen
is a matter of statewide interest; and

councilmen in cities of similar size throughout California but
would not limit the right of the City of Huntington Beach to
determine the salaries of their own councilmen if they should
so desire,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach supports the passage of
AB-170,5.
