HUNTINGTON BE CH, .CALIFORNIA,
A: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
ASSESSMENT DIAGRAWAND ESTIMf TE OF ::COSTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City C ounc it of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, in regular session assembled, that
the City Engineer be , and he hereby is authorized and directed
to prepare plans and specifications for the proposed construction
and installation of the following described work and improvement:
The construction and installation of concrete curb , gutters ,
sidewalk, and driveway aprons , street paving, a storm drain system,
and a sewer system, together with appurtenances and appurtenant work,
in the following public streets:
1. The southerly one-half of Ellis Avenue from 570 feet
east of Beach Boulevard to the City of Fountain Valley city limits .
2 . Modale Drive from Hoyt Lane to Lister Street .
3 . Constantine Drive from Beach Boulevard to Carolyn
Street .
4. The easterly one-half of Beach Boulevard from 650
feet north to 325 feet south of Constantine Drive .
5. Hoyt Lane from Modale Drive to Constantine Drive.
6 . Carolyn Street from Constantine Drive to 325 feet
south thereof.
7 . Chapel Lane from Ellis Avenue to Modale Drive .
8. Lister Street from Modale Drive to 650 feet south
thereof.
9. In Fountain Valley in an easterly prolongation of
Modale Drive to Newland Street, and then in Newland Street to
Garfield Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Engineer be and he
hereby is authorized and directed to prepare a careful estimate of

the cost and expense of such work, and a plat or map of the proposed
assessment district .
ADOPTED the 17th day of July, 1967 .

I, PAUL C. JONES , the duly elected, qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio Clerk of
the City Council of said city, do hereby certify that the whole number
of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is
seven; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members of said
City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of
July, 1967 , by the following vote:
