WHEREAS, Section 34090 ei-gid Section 34o90,5 of the Govern- ment Code authorizes the destruction of city records, some of which have been microfilmed, upon approval of the legislative body of the City and with consent of the City Attorney; and WrHEREAS, the City Clerk has requested authority for the destruction of certain records which do not fall within the ex- cepted categories under said code; and 1411HEHEAS9 the City Attorney of the City of Huntington Beach hel-leby colisents to the destruction of city records, pur- suant to the a"Covementioned codes and upon a,-proval of the City Council : NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1iU1-FTIi.Z`I`O11.
