A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY il)NI-3IL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH OF INrPE-,,'TION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF WINTERS PLACE, A STREET LOCI'=D, IN
TRACT No. 3921 NORTH OF W.".RNER AND EAST OF
GOLDEN WEST.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does
hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach hereby declares its Intention to vacate a street located
within Tract No. 392 In the City of Huntington Beach, described
as follows:
All that portion of Winters place, 25.20 feet in
width, as shown on a map Tract NO. 3929 recorded
in Book 16, Page 5 of Miscellaneous MapstRecords
of Orange County, California, lying westerly of
the northerly prolongation of the east line of Lot
29 of Block C of said Tract No. 3929
and the city elects to proceed under the provisions of Part 39
Division 9, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways code of the
State of California, being Section 8320 et seq of said code.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to maintain on
file in the office of the City clerk maps or plans showing the
particulars as to the proposed vacation of the street as herein-
above set forth and reference is hereby made to said maps or plans
for said particulars as to said proposed vacation.
Section 3. The City Council does hereby fix April 19 19689
at the hour of 7:30 P-mo thereof at the council chambers at
Res.No. 2697
Sixth and Orange, Huntington Beach, California, as the time
and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation which time is not less than fifteen
(15) days from the adoption of this resolution.
Section. 4. The City Clerk is directed to cause a
copy of this resolution to be published in the Huntington
Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Huntington Beach in the manner pre-
scribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of the city.
Section 5• The City Clerk is directed to post or
cause to be posted notices of street vacation conspicuously
along the line of the street proposed to be vacated at least
ten (10) days before the date of the hearing. Such notices
shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart
but at least three (3) shall be posted in the street so pro-
posed to be vacated. Such notices shall state the adoption
of this resolution of intention and the time and place of the
hearing.
PASSED. AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California at a regular meeting held on
the :4th. day of March, 1968

I , PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th
day of March 1 68, by the following vote:
