RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A PORTION OF WINTERS PLACE, A STREET LO-
CATED IN TRACT NO. 392, NORTH OF WARNER
AVENUE AND EAST OF GOLDENWEST STREET IN THE
CITY
WHEREAS, on March 4. 1968, the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach duly adopted Resolution No. 2697, declar-
ing its intention to va,ca,te a, portion of Winters Place, a,
street located in Tract No. 392, north of Warner Avenue and
east of Goldenwest Street in the City of Huntington Beach, and
referring to a, ma.p or plan on file in the office of the City
Clerk for particulars a,s to the proposed vacation; and
Said resolution fixed the time and place of April 1, 1968
at 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers at Sixth and Orange, Hunt-
ington Beach, California for hearing all persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time was not less
than fifteen days from the date of passage of said resolution.
Said resolution was duly published in the manner prescribed by
la,w for the publishing of ordinances of the city. Notices of
said street vacation were posted conspicuously along the line of
the street and portion thereof proposed to be va,ca,ted at least
ten days before the date set for hearing. Such notices were
posted not more than three hundred feet apart, and at least three
were posted on said street. Said notices stated the time and

place of the hearing.
On April 1, 1968 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. thereof, in the
Council Chambers at Sixth and Orange, Huntington Beach, Ca li-
fornia, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach did con-
vene for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in or ob-
jecting to the vacation of a, portion of said street, at which time
no objection was made to the vacation of said portion of said
street and evidence was presented showing that the portion of
said street proposed to be vacated was not necessary for present
or prospective public street purposes, and it was found by the
City Council from all evidence submitted that that portion of
said street hereinafter described is not necessary for present
or prospective public street purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does resolve that the portion of Winters Place in Tract
No. 392, located north of Warner Avenue and east of Goldenwest
Street is not necessary for present or prospective public street
purposes, and it is hereby
ORDERED that the following described portion of Winters
Place in Tract No. 392, located north of Warner Avenue and east
of Goldenwest Street be, and the same is hereby vacated; that
said portion of said street so va,ca,ted is described as follows :
All that portion of Winters Place, 25.20
feet in width, as shown on a, ma,p of
Tract No. 392, recorded in Book 16, Page
5 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, lying westerly of the
northerly prolongation of the east line

and as shown on the map hereto attached, marked Exhibit "A."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a. regular meeting held on the

resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
