A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY TO ENFORCE
THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE AND OTHER STATE
LAWS ON THE CAMPUSES OF GOLDENWEST COLLEGE AND
MARINA HIGH SCHOOL IN SAID CITY
WHEREAS, Goldenwest College and Marina High School have re-
quested the city to enforce traffic and parking regulations on
their respective parking lots ; and
The City of Huntington Beach has determined that it is in the
public interest that said city enforce such laws and other laws of
the state on said campuses,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does resolve that the Police Department of the City of
Huntington Beach is hereby authorized and directed, at the dis-
cretion of the Chief of Police and as police personnel are available
for such duty, to enforce all vehicle code regulations and other
state laws on the campuses of Goldenwest College and Marina High
School in the City of Huntington Beach.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of June, 1968 .

I , PAUL C. JONES , the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is seven; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th
day of Je 19_§8 _, by the following vote:
