A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE
OF MONEY FROM DRAINAGE DISTRICT 5 FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
has adopted a budget for the fiscal year 1968-1969 by Ordinance
No . 1427 ; and
Section 5 of said Ordinance No . 1427 provides the procedure
for authorizing expenditures from the several special funds men-
tioned in said ordinance; and
First American Title Insurance and Trust Company has sub-
mitted its bill for Forty and no/100ths Dollars ($40 . 00) for
preparation of a guaranteed litigation report in the matter of
City of Huntington Beach v. Richard T. Leaver, et al . (Case No .
107701) , in connection with construction by the city of a storm
drain channel adjoining the Orange County Flood Control District
Channel C5, approximately seven hundred feet east of Goldenwest
Street and northeasterly approximately one and one-half miles;
and
The City Attorney and the Director of Public Works recom-
mend that an expenditure from Drainage District 5 Fund be author-
ized to pay said fee ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach that it does authorize an expenditure of
Forty and no/100ths Dollars ($40 . 00) from Drainage District 5
Fund payable to First American Title Insurance and Trust Company
for preparation of guaranteed litigation report , No . OR-1059946,
in the aforementioned action in eminent domain.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 5th day of

August, 1968 .
