A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA TO VACATE A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
WITHIN TRACT NO. 6645 IN THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the map of Tract No. 6645 dedicated a ten foot
drainage easement; and
WHEREAS, subsequent construction designs eliminated the
necessity to utilize this easement for its intended purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
desires to vacate the easement as hereinafter described:
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, does resolve, determine, find, stipulate, and declare
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain easement
within the City of Huntington Beach, described as follows:
That ten foot easement, dedicated for drainage purposes, as
shown on a map of Tract No. 6645, recorded in Book 247 pages 43-44 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, said easement
being the northerly ten feet of lot 13 together with the northeasterly
10 feet of lot 11 of said tract.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation, refer-
ence is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City.
Section 2. That notice is hereby given that the 40 day of
November 1968, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible,
in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, California, is
the time and place when and where a public hearing shall be held upon said
resolution of intention to vacate the above described easement, at which
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
may be heard.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a copy of this resolution of intention to be published in the
Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Huntington Beach, by two insettions prior to the

hearing as set forth in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, in vacating the above described easement, does elect to proceed
under the provisions of the Public Service Easements Vacation Law of 1943,
Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5 of the Government Code
of the State of California.
Section 5. The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized
and directed to post notices of the easement vacation as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
71h day of October, 1968.
