A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION OF A DRAINAGE
EASEMENT AWNED BY THE CITY ON A PORTION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE NORTH TEN (10) FEET OF LOT 13 AND THE
NORTHEASTERLY TEN (10) FRET OF LOT 11 OF TRACT 6645
IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of October, 1968, the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach duly ad.opted. Resolution No. 2843
declaring its intention to vacate any and all easements and.
rights now owned, by the City on a portion of property located
in the northerly ten (10) feet of Lot 13 and, the northeasterly
ten (10) feet of Lot 11 of Tract 6645 in the City of Huntington.
Beach and, referring to a map or plan on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said. city for particulars as to the proposed.
vacation.
Said. Resolution designated. November 4. 1968, at the hour
of 7: 30 P.M. thereof, at the Council Chambers at City Hall,
Huntington Beach, California, as the time and. place for hearing
all persons interested. in or objecting to the proposed. vacation,
which time was not less than fifteen (15) days from the date
of passage of said. Resolution.
Notice of said. hearing was published. in a newspaper of
general circulation published. in the county and. designated. in
the Resolution of Intention, for at least two (2) consecutive
weeks prior to the hearing. Notices of said. vacation were
posted, conspicuously along the line of the easement proposed to
be vacated, and. said notices were posted. not more than 300 feet

apart and. at least three (3) such notices were posted on said.
easement, said. notices stating the time and, place of the hearing
and. describing with common certainty the easement proposed to
be vacated.
At the time and, place hereinabove set forth, the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach did. convene for the
purpose of hearing all persons interested, in, or objecting to,
the vacation of all easements and rights on the above d.escribed.
property, at which time no objection was mad.e to said. vacation,
and. evid.ence was presented. showing that the easements and. rights
proposed. to be vacated. were unnecessary for present or prospect-
ive public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach d.oes resolve that the easements and. rights now owned by
the City of Huntington Beach on a portion of property located.
in the north ten (10) feet of Lot 13 and. the northeasterly ten
(10) feet of Lot 11 of Tract No. 6645, in the City of Huntington
Beach are not necessary for present or prospective public use
by the City, and, it is hereby ord.ered that all easements now
owned. by said City on said. property be vacated, including any
and. all rights now owned, by the City from time to time to
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and. renew storm
drains and. appurtenant structures in, upon, over and. across
said, property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of

resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th
