HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 3053 RESOLUTION NO. 3053 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CITY RECORDS WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the California Government Code provides for the destruction of non-excepted city records not less than five years old, with the approval of the Council, by resolution, and with the consent of the City Attorney; and The City Clerk has in his custody, tax assessor' s rolls through November 20, 1950 and he has requested a resolution of destruction in connection with such records no longer necessary or required to be kept; and Such records do not fall within the excepted categories under said Section of the Government Code; and The City Attorney has given his written consent for the destruction of such records . NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach resolves as follows : That the City Council approve the destruction of all tax assessor ' s rolls through November 20, 1950, now in the custody of the City Clerk. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of October 1969 .
