ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6803
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach,
California, in regular session assembled, does hereby resolve
and determine as follows:
SECTION 1: The public interest and convenience require,
and it is the intention of said City Council to order the follow-
ing work to be done and improvements to be made in Assessment
District No. 6803 in said City of Huntington Beach, California,
to wit:
The construction and installation of concrete curb
and gutter , concrete cross gutters and aprons , asphalt concrete
pavement over aggregate base material, the removal of all
obstacles in the line of work, all together with appurtenances
and appurtenant work, in:
1 GREEN STREET from a point in its intersection
with Warner Avenue 24 feet North of the center line of Warner
Avenue to its intersection with the Northerly right of way line
of Pearce Street .
2 . THE NORTHERLY ONE-HALF OF WARNER AVENUE for a
distance of 60 feet East and 33 feet West of its intersection
with the center line of Green Street .
3 . MILO STREET from its intersection with the center
line of Green Street to a point 165 feet West thereof.
4 . THE SOUTHERLY ONE-HALF OF PEARCE STREET from a
point in its intersection with Bolsa Chica _ Street 24 feet West
of the center line of Bolsa Chica Street to a point in Pearce
Street 825 feet West of said center line.
5 . THE WESTERLY ONE-HALF OF BOLSA CHICA STREET in its
intersection with Pearce Street , and for a distance of 43 feet
South of its intersection with the center line of Pearce Street ;
provided that asphalt concrete berms , rather than concrete curb
and gutter shall be installed in the Southerly side of Pearce Street

from points 49 feet to 92 feet West of the center line of Bolsa
Chica Street and in the Westerly side of Green Street from
points 50 feet to 92 feet North of the center line of Warner
Avenue .
An eight inch vitrified clay pipe sewer main with
four inch vitrified clay pipe house laterals , manholes , lamp-
holes , trenching and backfilling, appurtenances and appurtenant
work, in:
1 . GREEN STREET from a manhole to be constructed
90 feet North of the center line of Warner Avenue to a manhole
to be constructed in the Northerly one-half of the intersection
of Green and Pearce Streets .
2 . MILO STREET from a manhole to be constructed
in its intersection with Green Street to a lamphole to be con-
structed in Milo Street 165 feet West of the center line of
Green Street .
3 . PEARCE STREET from an existing eight inch stubout
in its intersection with Bolsa Chica Street 30 feet West of the
center line of Bolsa Chica Street to a lamphole to be constructed
in Pearce Street 825 feet West of said center line of Bolsa Chica
Street .
4. PEARCE STREET from an existing eight inch stubout
in its intersection with Bolsa Chica Street 27 feet East of the
center line of Bolsa Chica Street to a lamphole to be constructed
in Pearce Street 485 feet East of said center line of Bolsa Chica
Street .
An eight inch diameter asbestos cement domestic water
line with gate valves , fire hydrants , appurtenances and appurten-
ant work, in:
1. GREEN STREET from the existing domestic water
system in its intersection with Warner Avenue to its intersection
with Pearce Street .
2 . MILO STREET from the domestic water line to be
constructed in its intersection with Green Street as aforesaid
to a point in Milo Street 165 feet West of the center line of
Green Street .
3 . PEARCE STREET from the domestic water line to be
constructed in its intersection with Bolsa Chica Street to a point

that territory in said City of Huntington Beach which is shown
upon that certain plat or map thereof now on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said city, entitled "PROPOSED BOUNDARIES
OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6803 , CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,, COUNTY
OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.'' and which said map or plat
indicates by a boundary line the extent of the territory included
in the proposed district and covers all details as to the extent
of the area to be assessed . Reference is hereby made to said
map or plat .
SECTION 4: Serial bonds shall be issued in the manner
and form provided in Part 5 , Division 7 of the Streets and High-
ways Code of the State of California, the Improvement Act of 1911 ,
to represent unpaid assessments of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or over .
Said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of seven percent (710) per
annum and the last installment of said bonds shall mature nine (9)
years from the second day of January next succeeding the first day
of September following their date . The redemption provisions of
said bonds shall provide , in addition to all other matters required
by law, for the payment of a premium of five percent (5%) of the
unmatured principal thereof, should the owner or any person
interested in any lot or parcel of land upon which such bonds have
been issued desire to pay off any of such bonds and discharge the
land described in any of such bonds from the lien of said assess-
ment prior to its maturity and the commencement of proceedings
for sale .

SECTION 5: The time and place for hearing any written
protest of any and all persons to said work and improvements , or to
the grades to which said work is to be done, or to the boundaries
of the district proposed to be assessed to pay the cost and ex-
penses of said work and improvements is hereby fixed and set for
Monday, the 15th day of December , 1969 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
P .M. of said day, or as soon thereafter as said hearing can be
held , in the meeting room of said City Council in the City Hall ,
Huntington Beach, California .
SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall give notice of the
adoption of this resolution of intention by mail , in the time, form
and manner required by law, and shall cause said resolution of

intention to be published in the time, form and manner required
by law.
SECTION 7 : The Superintendent of Streets shall cause
notice of the adoption of this resolution of intention to be con-
spicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and
improvements , and on all the open streets within the assessment
district , in the time,une, form and manner required by law.
SECTION S: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the grades to
which said work is to be done are, or may be in part , new and
different from those heretofore established, or may be and in some
cases are different from existing ground levels .
SECTION 9: The total estimated cost of said work and
improvement , including estimated incidental costs, is in the amount

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected , qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-officio
Clerk of the City Council of said city, do hereby certify that the
whole number of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach is seven; that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the members
of said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd
day of November , 1969, by the following vote:
